At Neighborhood Loans, our commitment to the communities we serve is unwavering. This is our 3rd annual charity golf outing, a significant event that is now an annual tradition. Each year, a charity nominated by our team members will be chosen as the event's beneficiary. This is not just a golf event but a powerful way to unite, support, and champion a local charity that resonates with our values and mission.

Justin Wegner was a compassionate, driven young man whose life and character inspired the creation of Jwegstrong Foundation after his passing from a rare cancer in 2019. Known for his kindness, humility, and leadership, Justin’s impact continues to be felt by everyone who knew him.

Today, his parents, Ed and Cathy, and brother Jason, keep his legacy alive through meaningful efforts that reflect who he was. The foundation presents yearly awards to students and athletes who embody Justin’s qualities—such as being humble, kind, and strong leaders—ensuring his spirit lives on in future generations.

They also support cancer research, helping fund efforts to fight the rare disease Justin battled, and give back to families facing similar challenges.

In addition, each year on Justin’s birthday, they honor him by visiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities near Lurie Children’s Hospital, bringing comfort and support to families going through difficult times—just as Justin always cared for others.

Through these acts, Justin’s legacy continues to inspire kindness, strength, and generosity in the community.
